• 2 1/4 lbs ground chicken or 2 1/4 lbs turkey
  • 1/4 cup dark hi-quality soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 3 cloves freshly crushed garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons oregano
  • 2 tablespoons cumin powder
  • salt and hot pepper or black pepper, as desired
  • 1 Mix well and form into patties.
  • 2 Grill or pan fry until lightly browned on both sides.
  • 3 Serve with carmelized onions (onions sauted in oil over low heat until nicely browned).
